Alpujarras Properties, one of the Another Way Of Life agencies, was founded in 2005, since when it has concentrated on marketing properties within the beautiful Alpujarras landscape, predominantly in that part which lies within the province of Granada, although we do also extend into Almería.
Our principal office serving the Alpujarras is located in Cádiar and our head office is in Granada.
We work throughout the Alpujarras, from Lanjarón and Orgiva in the west, through the Poqueira Valley towns of Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira, into the villages of La Taha, past Cádiar and Yegen to Mairena and Laroles in the east.

Allan Hilder is the director of Another Way Of Life and has lived in Granada for more than 20 years. He lives with his wife and daughter (when she is not at Surrey University) in the Albayzin district of Granada. Allan is a Certified Chartered Accountant and holds both a Masters and a First Class Honours Degree in Spanish and French from Kent University. To our buyers, we promise to listen carefully to their needs and recommend properties that are likely to suit them even though this may not be immediately apparent to the client. We will not engage in estate agent’s tricks such as showing you unsuitable properties just to make it appear to the seller that we are active on their behalf and to take up your time. Our time, like yours, is precious and we will not waste it.
After the purchase is finalised we are available to help buyers in whatever way they need without time limit.
