This fantastic four bedroom town house is situated in the small Alpujarran village of Yátor. This quiet village is only a short drive from the town of Cádiar, which has shops, café bars, schools, petrol station, and a health centre amongst other amenities.
Yator does have a small bar, and various vans that come into the area on a daily basis with bread, fish, fruit and vegetables etc. There is also a free bus service that takes you to Cadiar every Thursday and market days which are the 3rd and 18th every month.
The property is unusual in the fact that it has a beautiful internal balcony, opening on to a glass, covered atrium that makes the house light and airy. Renovated to a high standard, it has many rustic features including terracotta floor tiles, stone walls and wooden beams.
From the street there is a large, solid wooden main door leading to an open entrance hall. To the right is a door to a large cellar, ideal for storage. Up a step is the lounge area, the stairs to the first floor and a door giving access to the dining room. The living area is ‘L’ shaped and bright due to the atrium. It has a wood burner, stone built table, access to the kitchen and double doors leading to a small courtyard in an open light well. The kitchen is open plan with a breakfast bar that separates the dining area, which also has a wood burner. From the kitchen is a cloakroom with wc and wash basin.
The first floor has a large open landing with the internal balcony; the area is full of natural light and gives access to four bedrooms and a family bathroom. The three double bedrooms have Juliet balconies and one has a large built in wardrobe, there is also a single bedroom. The bathroom is fully tiled, has a corner shower and a skylight for natural light. On the landing are stairs up to a storage area, leading to the large roof terrace. This has beautiful views and a stone built barbeque.
The property has mains electricity, water and drainage. Access by car is good and there is ample parking.
This is a very comfortable town house, which needs to be viewed to be appreciated.
